PLASTIC MIND

The works presented in this exhibition were created in different periods and techniques, and as such they bear witness of both the topics of my interest and my concern for experimentation with artistic materials. This translates into the visualization of processes of research, inquiry, learning and evolution, both artistic and personal, where the portrait is used to embody different states and unconscious aspects of the human mind. That is to say, they are symbolic portraits that are arranged in a specific order to develop a history of soul deepening, each one representing a phase. This is how the mind experiences different states, changes and transformations, and integrates unconscious aspects into consciousness. This plasticity of the mind is metaphorically expressed in the diversity of techniques, tonalities and portrayed subjects.
